 I applaud Google for its increased sensitivity to privacy issues. For example, it has excluded people from it’s image-recognition program because of privacy issues. Google , in my opinion, is waiting for the law to catch up with technology. It does not want to be the first to test the boundaries of current law. It’s a smart, cautious move that protects the company without limiting its revenue stream. This is exactly how I would counsel a client in Google position.
